My plane was delayed for four hours in Cincinnati. Browsing in a store, I paused to chat with a sales person in a retail store. We talked about hope for the future... kind of Obama related. I asked him about conversation. He said that if people took five minutes to talk to someone else, using that time to get to know something about them, the world could become a better, more peaceful place.

I wonder how often we discover something new from people we pass in our daily lives. I wonder what kinds of question one could ask, so not to be rude or akward, but instead, to be kind and curious?
